This October, engineers from LUVA’s Delivery Department conducted a series of internal training sessions for employees across the company. The program aimed to build a clearer understanding of LUVA’s business, project execution and site operations, helping each department identify how it can contribute to successful project delivery.
The training covered five key areas: the full EPCM/EPC project life cycle; core equipment, systems and process principles in chemical projects; site installation, commissioning and delivery planning; project acceptance and the development of reference plants; and project management methods and tools.

Sessions on engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) introduced the overall project framework. By connecting individual activities with the broader delivery process, the training helped employees understand how decisions and coordination across departments can affect project progress.
Technical sessions provided an overview of key equipment and systems, together with the process principles behind them. This knowledge gives employees a more concrete basis for understanding project requirements, discussing technical issues and communicating with colleagues involved in engineering and site work.
Training on installation, commissioning and delivery planning focused on preparing for site execution. Project acceptance and reference plant development highlighted the importance of meeting agreed requirements and establishing facilities that demonstrate LUVA’s engineering and delivery capabilities. Project management methods and tools provided a framework for organizing tasks, tracking progress and coordinating responsibilities.
Together, these topics linked technical knowledge with the practical demands of project delivery. A shared understanding of project stages, site needs and departmental responsibilities supports clearer communication and better coordination throughout execution.
Guided by its “Customer First” value, LUVA maintains an ongoing commitment to internal training. By regularly updating employees’ project and industry knowledge, the company aims to keep its teams informed of developments in the chlor-alkali and sulfuric acid industries and in engineering technology. This continued investment in learning strengthens the foundation for responsive customer support and reliable project delivery.
